Disconnected Gents’ Hairstyles

186One of the top trends for men’s hair in 2015 has been the disconnected hair cut where the hair is cut short or shaved at the sides and left long on the top.  Our barber Jefferson Hayter is the ‘Ace of Fades’ so why not ask for a fade which is where the hair gradually fades from longer down to shorter at the sides.  Or maybe an undercut where the sides and back are either copletely shaved or clippered to the same length all the way around.  On top, you can wear your hair in a quiff, slicked straight back, to one side or just left long and floppy.

Preppy Hairstyles for Men

178Preppy hairstyles can look great and really add to your sense of style, particularly if you favour the buttoned-up polo shirt and carrot jeans look. Ask for a parting and for your hair to be cut into a fade with longer hair on top. The hair can be as long or as short as you like on top but should be styled neatly.

Texturised Hair Cuts for Gents

157Most men who visit our barbers are interested in a look that is well groomed during the day (for work perhaps), and can then be a bit ‘messed up’ for a relaxed evening out. By adding layers and texture to your hair you can have the best of both worlds. Just add some hair wax, gel or pomade to your hair and mess it up a little and you’re ready to party into the night!

Men’s Long Hairstyles

173Long hair can look great on gents – whether it is long all over or simply a longer fringe – but make sure your hair is given a regular trim every six to eight weeks and that you add a little conditioner when you wash it. If your hair is curly, ask your barber to add some layers to make it more manageable. Don’t worry, we’ll make sure it still looks masculine!
